Privacy
A short, plainspoken privacy notice for esues.de and a pointer to the per-app privacy pages where the real action is.
Last updated: May 2026
esues.de is a static website. It exists to introduce me (Simon Steinhage) and the apps I build. It doesn't have user accounts, comments, contact forms, newsletters, or any feature that asks you for personal data.
The website itself doesn't store cookies, doesn't run analytics, and doesn't embed third-party trackers. The only place data is processed is at the hosting layer, where standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) may be written briefly. That's how every web server on earth keeps the lights on.
These logs are used only to keep the site running and to investigate problems. They aren't shared with third parties for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
The site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches the font, Google can see your IP address as part of that request. If you'd rather not, most browsers have ways to block external font loading. The site works fine without it (it'll just fall back to your system font).
This site links to external services like the App Store and to hey-buddee.app. Once you click through, those services' own privacy policies apply.
Each app handles data differently, depending on what it does:
Because this site doesn't process personal data beyond standard server logs, there's not much to access, correct, or delete. Still, you always have the right under GDPR to ask about how your data is handled, to request deletion, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Just reach out to me directly.
For any privacy question, write to
hello[at-sign]esues.de (replace [at-sign] with @). I read every email and reply personally.
If I add anything to the site that changes how data is handled, I'll update this page and bump the date at the top.
